I/O modules Quido

Quido I/O is a family of I/O modules with digital inputs, outputs, and a thermometer. Inputs are designed to connect voltage or contacts – can distinguish two states (0 and 1). The outputs are relays with a changeover contact. The thermometer can be connected to a cable of up to 15 meters and is able to measure temperatures in the range from -55 to +125 °C. A funtion overview is mentiond in following bullet points.

• Output control: The outputs are equipped with power relays with changeover contact. The basic option is to close or open the relay contacts immediately. It is also possible to set the contacts to the desired state for the specified time (e.g. close relay 2 for 5 sec). Control is possible from the superior system or via the WEB interface.
• Input monitoring: The inputs are ready for contact or voltage connection. They are two-state - they can therefore distinguish between connected / unconnected voltage states, or closed / open contact. The status of the inputs is available on request the WEB page.
• Pulse counting: It is possible to turn on the counter function (for each input separately) and count pulses (counting products, people, etc.)  or connect external sensors with pulse output. The status of the counters is available on request from the WEB page.
• Automatic information about input change: An automatic message is sent when the input status changes. The function can be activated individually for inputs.
• Temperature measurement: One thermometer can be connected to a cable of up to 15 meters and is able to measure temperatures in the range from -55 to +125°C. he current temperature is displayed on the Quida WEB page.
• Temperature monitoring: the relay closes when temperature changes, closes for a predefined period when a specified temperature has been reached (sends an e-mailor HTTP GET).
